We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor on our night shift at our Harrison, AR, folding carton facility.

The opportunity:

The Production Supervisor provides supervision and direction to approximately 35 hourly employees, in all folding carton operating areas, on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. The Manufacturing Supervisor assures compliance to established safety rules/policies/procedures, environmental compliance, customer quality and production specifications. Plans and controls production performance as measured by key performance indicators. Actively leads and participates in the plant safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement efforts. Works with employees to develop the necessary skills to perform job tasks.

Promotes the safe and healthy working conditions and recommends measures to reduce or eliminate accident and health hazards in compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulationsEnforces safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating proceduresEstablishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedulesMakes and implements recommendations to improve safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)Analyzes and resolves work problems, and / or assists employees in solving work problemsInitiates and suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve department and plant goalsMaintains time and production recordsSets up machines and equipment to meet safety, quality, and production objectivesConduct safety and crew meetings as needed

What you need to succeed:

3-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum High School education required (in combination with significant work experience in a similar role); Bachelor degree preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeActive participation on continuous improvement teams; Lean/6 Sigma Green Belt certification preferredPositive attitude, good organizational skills, ability to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills and ability to motivate people to perform at a higher level
